Our June 5, 2010 Get Together was a Cook-Out / Picnic at the home of Mike & La Nell Shores We had 21 alumni plus 2 neighbors show up for a great afternoon cook-out. Paul Pappas definitely knows how to grill hamburgers and hot dogs. Everyone pitched in by bringing side dishes and you should have seen all of the desserts. With the huge trees in the back yard, we had plenty of shade to keep the summer heat away. We're thankful for all of the alumni who came out to join in the fun. Since we had so much fun at our summer cook-out, we may decide to have a fall cook-out. If you're interested and want to be notified, please let us know.
Click on the photos below for a larger view of the ones who attended the picnic.

CHHS Concert Choir Alumni from 1951 - 1973 honored A.C. "Ozzie" Ossenkop February 6, 2010 at Southpointe Church
The Choir Alumni wish to thank all of the planning committee members for their outstanding tribute to Ozzie and his family. We also thank Southpointe Church for allowing us the use of their facilities in order to make the tribute available. So many memories were rekindled on Saturday, from students ranging from 1951 thru 1973. Ozzie taught choir at Capitol Hill High School for 22 years. We remembered the influences on our life and the legacy of love given to us by one of the greatest friends a person could have, Ozzie. We all say Thank You Ozzie.
