Reunions "
The Reunion is over, but not forgotten. Everyone enjoyed seeing their old classmates. Some have changed more than others. But the spirit of CHHS lived on. June 5, '04 Saturday Morning - Several had the opportunity to tour the Capitol Hill HS Campus. Click on these photos for a larger image _______________________________________________________________________ June 4th, '04 - Social Event - What a hoot this was. Lots of food, fun, and great socializing. We had entertainment provided by our own "Beach Bums" and even had our own "Elvis" appear and sing for the occasion. We held the Social at Kingspark Club House, 1501 Lincolnshire Rd., OKC. _____________________________________________________________________ Pictures from the Reunion, June 5, '04 "Master of Ceremonies" & "Quilt Designers" VIP's for the Reunion: C. We extend our appreciation to these Reunion Committee Members who provided the Silent Auction items at the Reunion: 0 A beautiful Silk Flower Arrangement created and designed by Doris (Shelton) Prock. 0 A beautiful hand made necklace created and designed by Paul Quillin. 0 A beautiful Full Size Quilt, Maroon and White with a Black border, with the "Redskin Mascot" in the middle. The Quilt Blocks are called, the "Road to Oklahoma". The Alumni's who have designed and lovingly created this beautiful Quilt, are Miss Lydia (McClain) Son and Miss Mary Jane (Gothard) Bailey. For a better look at the Quilt, please click on the image below. Also, click on the image at the top of this page for a look at the designer and the displayed quilt at the 40th year reunion. The quilt was used as a backdrop for all of the reunion portraits . We extend our appreciation these Reunion Committee Members, for the Sale Items Provided at the Reunion: 0
Shirley (Coffman) Hayer and George Bouse, provided the inspiration for the
great looking Golf Shirts, T-Shirts, Jackets and Caps, which displayed a CHHS
mascot logo. These items were provided at the reunion, by Jerry
Robertson, of the
"Embroidery House". These
items are being worn and displayed with the pride of CHHS, the Class of
'64. To have a better look at these items, click on the small image.
Here are a couple of the photos taken at the Reunion Garage Sale in May '04. We donated goods and all profit went toward the Reunion expenses. As you can see, we had to take at least a little brake. ___________________________________________________________ More Photos from the Committee Meetings We had a lot of fun working on the 40th Year Reunion.
